You have reached the personal pages of Terry Froy, a 21-year old computer professional living in Spilsby, Lincolnshire.

I am proficient in Open Systems Programming, advanced TCP/IP networking solutions and programming C++ applications for a variety of operating systems. Among my many completed projects are several LAN utilities (based on NetWare), a portable high-efficiency audio codec (a refined and 'cleaner' version of the AAC codec designed and implemented by Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft) and several commercial projects that I am not allowed to talk about here.

I own and run my own business in the little spare time I have, Spilsby Internet Solutions, which provides low-price high-quality hosting for businesses in and around the Spilsby area. Funded from my own pocket, and maintained by my own sheer love of the work; I feel that I can offer far more than some guy with a copy of FrontPage and some Freeserve webspace :-)

Socially, I enjoy visiting local pubs; sampling what alcoholic delights they have to offer - making sure that I don't have too much so I spoil my enjoyment but making sure I don't have too little otherwise making it a completely futile exercise *grin*

Besides all that, I'm pretty much a nice guy at heart; obsessed with working myself into the ground with impossible deadlines - and when I have the time, providing technical support to Linux newbies and giving assistance to people who genuinely *need* help using their computer.

As of August 2000, I successfully qualified at North Lincolnshire College and am thankfully no longer a student at that 'orrible place - although I will start my Computer Science degree with the Open University in February... should be fun ;-)

I hold an RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certificate; which means I am qualified to install, set up, maintain and ultimately administer Red Hat Linux systems; in addition to this, I am fully experienced with a large number of software packages and operating systems, including but not limited to Windows, BeOS, OS/2, Novell NetWare, and SunOS/Solaris.
